Ojet Records was founded in Houston, Texas in 1998. We released 13 records in our first five years by 11 different artists from Houston, Chicago, Oakland, and Shizuoka, Japan. In 2003, Ojet went on hiatus. We kept the site alive and mail order was functional, but we didn't release any new records. In 2011, we rebooted the label from our new home base in New York with a records by the Brooklyn band Bull Thieves and Downtown NYC legends Elysian Fields and Ed Pastorini, and we have been making records again ever since.
